cozy autumn, pottery, and a new school year!

Over here at ADS, summer flew by! I’ll admit it was pretty warm and the AC was blasting these past few weeks. Now that it’s getting chilly I can’t wait for sweaters and bundling up in the art studio for creating in a cozy environment. This summer I took up pottery classes to build skills I intend to teach in the upcoming semesters. It’s so special to learn a new art form and see it take shape (literally) the more you work at it. I’ve seen my own spark and excitement for creating has grown and it translates to the way I teach and the lessons I plan for each of our school partners. Check out the scrapbook blog as we post updates, thoughts, and reflections of behind the scenes at Art Deco Studios. Happy Fall Ya’ll!
