Learn the beginnings of hand-building with clay! Sculpt, design, and decorate your unique artworks that can be used around your house! Clay has been used for thousands of years to create jars, vessels, jewelry, tiles, lamps, artworks and more! Now you’ll get the chance to make your own projects like clay beads, jars, dice, magnets, candle votives and more! Students will use a variety of clay types, tools, paint, and glaze to finish their pieces.
Each student will receive a sketchbook to use throughout the series and take home at the end.
10 Wednesday Class Dates: 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3 , 2/10, 2/24
Students will participate in an Art Show on the last day of class Wednesday Feb. 24th at 4pm! Parents and Family are welcome to join! (More details will be shared closer to the date).
Class is open to K-5th students.
