This class explores nature and builds the foundations of fine art skills. Students will develop confidence in decision-making, problem solving, and adapting as they create their artworks. Each week we will explore a different animal, plant, insect or ecosystem. Projects include: Cyanotype sun-printing, landscape paintings, lady bug study paintings, forest animals and more!
Each student will receive a sketchbook to use throughout the series and take home at the end. Aprons are provided each class for students to wear, and all fine art materials are provided.
10 week session:
9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/16, 12/7, 12/14
NO CLASS 9/7, 10/12, 11/9, 11/23, 11/30
Dates will be communicated and reminded to parents via email.
Students will participate in an Art Show on the last day of class Monday December 14th at 4:15pm! Parents and Family are welcome to join! (More details will be shared closer to the date).
Class is open to K-8th students.
Cost includes material fee and processing fee.
